Baiyun Airport Terminal T3 starts! "Two high-speed trains and two intercity" will be introduced

According to the approval of the feasibility study report, the third phase expansion project of Baiyun Airport mainly includes airport project, air traffic control project and oil supply project. The West Second and East Third runways, Terminal T3 and transportation center, and the East Fourth and West Fourth corridors of terminal T2 are the main projects of the airport. Among them, the most remarkable is the T3 terminal.

The design construction area of Terminal T3 is 422000 square meters, and the design goal is to build a terminal with people first, intelligent operation and future oriented.

According to the overall transportation plan of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport integrated transportation hub (Revision), Terminal T3 will introduce "two high-speed railways and two intercity" - Guanghe high-speed railway, Guangzhong Zhuhai Macao high-speed railway, the northern extension of metro line 22 (Fangcun Baiyun Airport intercity) and Guangzhou Dongguan Shenzhen intercity, combined with the existing northern extension of Metro Line 3 in terminals T1 and T2.

Guangzhou railway station or Guangzhou Baiyun station (Tangxi station) will be reachable from Baiyun Airport in 20 minutes, and the old urban area and Tianhe central area will be reachable by Expressway in 30 minutes.

At the same time, it connects the Pearl River Delta Urban Agglomeration and the Greater Bay area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to further enhance the competitiveness of Guangzhou international aviation hub.

With the completion and operation of phase III expansion, Baiyun Airport will eventually achieve the planning pattern of five runways and two terminal areas. Baiyun Airport connects the first and second terminal areas through underground service lanes, APM tunnels and high-speed car baggage tunnels, so as to realize the functional integration, interconnection and resource sharing of the two terminal areas.

The airport's periphery is closely linked to the terminal through the Guangzhou Dongguan Shenzhen intercity and the northern extension of metro line 22 (Fangcun Baiyun Airport Intercity Railway).
