Jingdong opens the first all cargo charter route between China and the United States
On June 7, Jingdong officially opened the "Nanjing Los Angeles" route charter. Following the departure of its first all cargo charter flight in the Asia Pacific region "Shenzhen Bangkok" two weeks ago, Jingdong international logistics took the next city to build its first scheduled charter flight from China to the Americas.
The head of Jingdong International Logistics Department said: "This' Nanjing Los Angeles' route charter is an end to end, fully self operated and full link air transport special line between China and the Americas built by Jingdong international logistics.". Taking advantage of Jingdong's platform advantages and linking with Jingdong International's own overseas warehouses in the United States, the global intelligent supply chain basic network of Jingdong international logistics has leapt to another level, realizing the integration of business flow and logistics, and helping Chinese brands and commodities go global.
It is reported that the line shuttles between Nanjing Lukou International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport (NKG LAX), which is flown by China Eastern Airlines three times a week. The export goods are mainly daily necessities, clothing and other e-commerce goods, and the import goods are mainly fresh products.
As Jingdong's first scheduled charter transport line between China and the United States, the charter will take Nanjing as its operation base, Shenzhen and Shanghai will set up front warehouse collection points to achieve the arrival of port to port on the same day, B end goods arriving in 2-3 days and C end goods arriving in 4-6 days. With the cooperation of Jingdong International's overseas warehouse resources in the United States, opening up the whole link of logistics, warehousing, distribution and other links, it not only greatly improves the speed of cross-border freight between China and the United States, provides convenient conditions for the vigorous development of cross-border e-commerce in China and local e-commerce in the United States, but also promotes the richness and activity of trade exchanges between China and the United States, and brings more vitality and speed to the cross-border trade industry of both sides.
